Hello, I am Dr. David Benisty, an astrophysicist and a Senior Lecturer at Bar-Ilan University. My research focuses on the greatest mysteries of our universe: exploring the nature of dark energy and dark matter, testing modified theories of gravity, and understanding the dynamics of our Local Group of galaxies in an effort to better understand cosmic expansion.

Throughout my academic journey I was a Minerva Fellow at the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics in Potsdam (AIP) after being a Rothschild and Blavatnik Fellow at the University of Cambridge, UK. In my research, I combine deep theoretical knowledge with a broad background in Data Science and advanced coding skills.
