Two orders of magnitude boost in the detection limit of a microfluidic system for bio-chemical and medical applications

Microfluidic systems used for bio-chemical and medical applications are using magnetic sensors. A new paper which is a collaboration of a group from HZDR headed by Prof. Denys Makarov, a group from BGU headed by Dr. Asaf Grosz and a group from the physics department at BIU headed by Prof. Lior Klein highlights the advantages for lab-on-chip applications of the planar Hall effect magnetic sensor developed at BIU/BGU. The paper is featured on the cover of ACS Omega.
