Its possible relation to the electroweak-breaking scale has fascinated physicists for decades: it may stabilize the Higgs mass, and it predicts Dark Matter candidate(s) near this scale. These days, it is being searched for at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. In this colloquium, I will outline the theoretically compelling features of supersymmetry and discuss the current state of LHC searches for it. Abstract

Abstract: Supersymmetry is a beautiful theoretical concept.
