Doctoral Thesis by Publications – Clarification
Criteria for Submitting a Doctoral Dissertation in the Format of a Thesis by Publications
Three articles accepted for publication, of which at least two must be in journals ranked A or higher.
A doctoral thesis by publications must include articles in which the candidate is the sole first author or shares first authorship.
However, if there are additional articles in which the candidate is a co-author but not the primary author, and the content of those articles is relevant to the dissertation, they may be included as an appendix under the heading "Additional Articles". These articles may also be referenced and discussed in the introductory chapters.
