David, a master’s student in the Department of Physics, was awarded this prestigious scholarship based on scientific excellence. The scholarship is designed to enable outstanding graduate students to dedicate their full time and efforts to advanced studies and research in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

About the research:
As part of his research in the laboratory of Prof. Beena Kalisky, David is developing deep learning tools for the reconstruction and analysis of superconducting maps derived from magnetic scans. His work combines the high sensitivity of SQUID microscopy with advanced AI algorithms, aiming to unravel the behavior of the superfluid and its underlying mechanisms in complex systems.
Through advanced data analysis, the project seeks to understand how different elements within the system interact and give rise to unique quantum states.
