New joint study program | Department of Physics

We are excited to announce the signing of an agreement for a new joint program of the Department of Physics at Bar Ilan with Beijing Normal University (BNU) in China!

As part of the program, outstanding international students who will study for a joint bachelor's degree with Beijing Normal University and Bar Ilan University are expected to come to the physics department at Bar Ilan.

Beijing Normal University (BNU) was founded in 1902 and is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in China. The university is ranked between 200-300 in the "Shanghai" ranking, according to the QS index, in 272nd place in the world, and ranked 251 out of 300 according to "Times Higher Education".

Today, several faculty members from the physics department at Beijing Normal maintain research ties with the physics department at Bar Ilan, and the opening of the program is expected to increase and strengthen the ties.
