Experimental soft condensed matter physics and biophysics

Itai has recently published several really beautiful works in experimental soft condensed matter physics and biophysics.
His research interests span from collective phenomena in colloids to dynamics of flight in insects, from buckling of plant roots to mechanical aspects of tumor growth. Some references to these works are given at the bottom, as also at his website:

Itai will tell about his research to the interested faculty and graduate students in the seminar room (B-991) on the 9th floor of the Nano building.
